More of an update on previous blog.

So as most of you know, I finally have internet at my place.

YES. HALLELUJAH!

Sorry for such a short blog last time, but I was too excited to really have the time to update you guys on what's been going on.

I mean can you blame me?

These last couple of weeks were pretty bad. Torturous even. Imagine not having internet. For two weeks. Ok, well that's a lie since I did have internet. Just not at my place. But nothing beats home sweet home. Or would that be home sweet internet in my case?

Either way, I am just relieved to have this whole ordeal over with. And you guys are probably wondering why it took me so freakin long to have this situation settled.

Well, it's NOT MY FAULT! Ok, well I guess it is partially my fault. But let me just tell you the details.

I told you that the technician came to install the internet about two weeks ago. He found out during the installation that the line (which is the cable line they use to connect to provide t.v., internet) in my apt apparently wasn't working. So he said that I have to call Comcast to have them set up a prepost (which is an appointment to have a new line installed). So I did, and they told me they would contact me within 48 hrs to have that set up. So I waited. 48 hrs came and went. They never called me back. So I called again. This lady on the other line told me to call this other number. Which I did. And no one picked up. So I left a message. Never called me back. Called and left another message. Still nothing. And keep in mind, I was still being pretty patient at this time. I figured they were bound to get back to me sooner or later.

But a week came and went. And now I was starting to get anxious. Really anxious. Meanwhile I was still having to use the library's internet and frankly, was getting pretty tired of it.

So I finally called them again. Hopefully for the last time. The lady who picked up told me that the technician who came to install the internet should have set up that prepost himself, not the customer. So I'm thinking, great. Now what?

Let me just tell you that thank god some of the customer service reps actually know what they're talking about and can be helpful. Extremely helpful in my case. She set up another appointment for me to have another technician stop by. And THAT technician found out my line was working fine, it was just the line wasn't turned on to actually be used. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Yes, it is over. The situation has been resolved. A lot of words were said and a lot of tears were cried. Ok, maybe no tears but you get the idea.

So that's my story pretty much. I figured this blog post is already long enough without me having to tell you the "normal" stuff that's happened to me. So I'll just leave it here for now. And I'm glad to be back and fully functioning again. Now to concentrate on school and the important stuff. But I am expecting one of those late night skype calls to occur *cough cough* soon in the future.

I mean I'm back! That's the least I deserve don't you think? :)

welcome back! Now you have the Internets at your home! XD

I can live without internet for more than 2 weeks, as long I have my phone to text with me. It's just that my Yahoo Inbox gets filled up rather quickly. Haha
